Safeguarding and protection is the right of every person and must be our collective responsibility.

OUR APPROACH

Principles and Methods

We aim to execute solutions, to build resilient individuals and communities to enhance and strengthen their capacity to prevent, protect and support those who are vulnerable to risks and those who are already trapped in situations of exploitation. This we want to accomplish through a strong collaborative approach with schools, universities, civil society organizations, corporates, government, judiciary, and law enforcement agencies.

Collective impact – through partnerships

The spirit of building collaborative partnerships which lead to mutual strength and collective action leading to impact is a conscious approach for us at Mudita Foundation and we are proud to engage with partners who resonate the same.

Evidence-based impact measure

Through research and sharing of knowledge – Understanding, measuring, and communicating impact is extremely critical to build capacity and empower and encourage individuals and communities to take appropriate and context-specific action. The impact is also central to our organization’s strategy as it helps us know whether we are meeting our mission and vision in the long term.

Direct interventions

From awareness for call for action to prevention to responding to situations of abuse, violence and exploitation our focus is to work with children, youth, educators, practitioners, families and communities to build their capacity and strength to fight this crime and prevent abuse and exploitation. Community level prevention and response mechanisms that are active and effective is a key output in our objectives.

OUR GOALS

In order to tackle these complex and deep-rooted
issues, we aim to –
  • Strengthen communities to take collective responsibility for the safety of women and children by raising awareness and building capacity for prevention
  • Develop and execute effective casework model/approach/interventions for victims of trafficking and other forms of sexual exploitation and abuse.
  • Build networks and create platforms for partners and stakeholders for collective impact
  • Create holistic models of safety for communities by building sustainable structures through long-term interventions
  • Steer the organisation towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical and legal governance, HR and financial management policies, in alignment with the overall mission, vision, objectives and values, through appropriate and timely processes and activities.
